Death Note

Death Note

A Poem by BlakHeart

The rope that hung from above
Is the perfect swing when you're blue
The blade that gently touches my flesh
And tenderly hugs my wrist

The medicine that puts me to slumber
Is the medicine that will help me rest in peace
And the liquid that cleans silver
Is the liquid I crave the most

Once again our paths have crossed
But this time I promise you this
That we'll never cross paths
For we'll walk the same path

Oh death! Hold me tightly
And never let me go
For we'll wali the same path
That you once took alone

If you want to find death. He shall come.
"Oh death! Hold me tightly
And never let me go
For we'll wali the same path
That you once took alone"
I liked the above lines. Powerful and worthwhile thoughts. Had the feel of the ancient writers. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

A good poem. A cry for help? Hopefully just a nice piece of writing. Good write.

Though you've done well in composition, I wonder at your intent. The poem itself is well done and so makes me wonder, are you all right?
