Hope you like it

they will never see my pain
for the great walls had hid them
they will never see my agony
fof I have locked it up inside

I had to put up a great show
to hide all the emotions
a show to be performed
by the liers and the hidders

you can be anyone you want
for this is a show
by liers and the hiders
to lie and hide the truth

Your poem is like the painting named REALITY. the way you tried to explain how people hides their true colours and personality, how they hide their pain, anger and sorrow and show themselves as happy is painting a picture in my mind.

Nice one, but it's only a great show to those who are actually good at it. I for one suck at the art of pretense, so I reckon my show would be a disaster. But then, in one way or another, as humans, we all tend to put on a front, and are so skilled to maintain it for as long as a lifetime. So if one can do that for a lifetime...hmm...I guess it is indeed a great show after all. *pensive* I guess so.

I totally understand what is being talked about in this piece. I know what it is like to put on a show for people because you know that they will not understand or care about the things you are going through. This poem really captures that feeling. Good job.

I experienced "putting on a show" mainly to avoid being bullied or ignored, but who cares what negative people say? Just surround yourself with good, kind, and sincere people so you can be true to yourself.
