Sweet Sadness...

 

I surrendered my love to you

I no longer know what to do.

No longer know what is right and what is wrong.

In what position are we to judge?

The world within our grip yet all we do is squeeze.

 

Beauty is just a word easily discarded.

What is beauty?

Do you consider someone’s soul?

Do you consider the person’s heart?

What does it all mean?

 

It causes tremors within me.

Building up building up, before finally breaking down.

Do you not see what I see?

Or is the world blind?

 

This is more than I can take…

Madness, sadness, rage.

What has this world turn into?

Why does it all have to be this way?

 

I can feel you there.

Somewhere amongst the carcasses of my memories

Your presence, it comforts and kills me.

What is there to do?

 

If your there for me all the time

Where are you now?

Why do you not answer my calls?

Not anymore.

 

You’re always so far away.

Hiding out there, wearing my heart on your sleeve.

Feeling you, needing you

I always wonder whether it was returned.

 

Your touch, it burns, yet so addictive.

You drag scars across my heart.

The sweet bitterness

 

No longer knowing what to do,

All I know, its time to say…
