Never

Never

A Poem by deathbroken
"

A little something I conjured. A sonnet.

"

Her cries, they echoed through the forlorn night
Alone, tormented through eternal times
She attempts to resist, with all her might
But she can only reflect on her crimes

Her mind entangled with horrendous thoughts
Shadows dominating her once pure heart
She remembered all the lies that they bought
Weaving through her mind, like a poisoned dart

She screams to the night, furious at the stars
Nothing could relieve her from her torture
Love, fleeting through her life like speeding cars
Nothing can help; no one can find a cure

Perhaps one day, her prince would come save her
Perhaps one day, but yet, perhaps never.
