5,840A Poem by KimberleyLB5,840 is a poem I wrote about a friend of mine who only lived long enough to see that many sunrises and sunsets in his 16 years of life.
How could you only see so few?
They are beautiful. The golden yellow and orange Mixing with reds. The rays reaching and stretching To touch everything green. Your pores of skin feel the tingle Of warmth as well. You can hear the birds chirping and Fluttering to the picturesque view. But the settings with hints Of purple and blue are Even more spectacular. Oh yes! The stars! Brilliant white on a black scape.
