Gentle Song

Gentle Song

A Poem by Kimberly Smith

Sing to me gentle
so I can see you
Sing to me gentle
Because my heart in mental
Sing to me gentle
For I am rough
Sing to me gentle
Only my skin is tough
Sing to me gentle
so I recognize the sad ,happy cress’s of your lips
Sing to me gentle
so I can hear
Sing to me gentle
Loudness colors I fear
Sing to me gentle
For that is our secret handshake
Sing to me gentle
A song that is familiar
Sing to me gentle
For this blackness is a killer
Sing to me gentle
so I can picture how you cry
Sing to me gentle
so I can feel your goodbyes

Sing to me gentle
So out of a muddle crowd your voice I can find

sing to me gentle
Because I am blind

This honestly makes my heart ache. Your talent at putting emotion into your words completely draws them out of the reader. And while you beg for a gentle singing this work hits you like a ton of bricks

Ohh what beauty ..how i could feel your words,i swear ,like you were talking to me..and i hear you
sing gently so i see you through your words..my heart aches and mind not working
want you to reverse all the wrong things in me..i may sound rough and skin is tough
you words softens all that outer shell..sing gently to me,wanna hear your blues, let me share and feel your lips move..
loneliness i fear..want you to kill it with your words..your songs kill all the blackness in me
sing to me so out of many i could hear you again and feel safe again and feel you again ,for now i cant really see
ohh what loveliness ,as usual..those words so moving..so magical
lovely write..
