"Stare deep and see the real you" I loved this line! Our bodies may be our temples but it is our souls, our hearts and minds that truly make us unique individuals. I have looked into the mirror, seen the changes that could be made but when I catch the reflection of light and look back into my own eyes, I see what really shines. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, true, but pure beauty lies within. If we all wore ourselves on the outside many of us would glow.:) Always be yourself, clothes and looks do not make you.
lolz! og i hate mirrors prbably bcuz it makes everone look so different
MIRRORS CAN SUCK IT!
I hate mirrors their a disgrace I would love if humans we just floating ovalular balls of glow-y stuff bcuz thats what matters the color of inside:)
I liked this a lot because of the sort of (allegory?) within the writing. These sorts of things (this type of genre, the, i guess, counter-culture type) are very interesting to me because, when crafted with excellence, tend to paint the accurate picture of humanity that nobody wants to talk about but everyone wants to read and feel and touch and smell (things like that). Very good writing

It almost feels as though you're hiding your true self, like you want to fit in with what society thinks of as 'normal' but you know that, in doing so, you're lying to yourself.
Very beautiful write. It paints a wonderful picture of self acceptance.
It's always good to be yourself and not convince yourself of looking a certain way. Many kids and teens strive to look a certain way and they go about it all wrong. It's all thanks to media, scales and mirrors...they point out and make us notice our very deepest insecurities with ourselves.
