Lies

Lies

A Poem by Killarney Roscoe

You know that I can't trust you

but somehow I still care

everytime I turn around I see you standing there

you're like a living nightmare

I can't just run away

I'm not the type to take commands

to walk, or sit, or stay

I have my own life that I want to live

but somehow it's not fair

cause everytime I look at you

I get sucked into your lare

I get tangeled up in chains of lies

the stories that you've told

I wish that you could realize

that they are getting old

you tell me that you love me

and that it is a fact

but when I'm least expecting it

you stab me in the back

I can't deal with you anymore

I've gone through too much pain

so don't wait up or stick around

cause I won't be back again

This poem is great--emotions are always complicated; they can change like storms on the ocean. Especially ones like love.
