Best FriendA Poem by Killarney Roscoethe first time time I met you I knew it would be the most wonderful time for just you and me you were my best friend my sun and my moon at the end of a phone call you'd say "see you soon!" I remember your birthday so well in my mind you opened that box to see just in time that confetti went flying around through the air to me it looked like a miniature fair you told us the secret though it was supposed to be a surprise a limo your mom got what a glorious prize Remember last summer all the time that were spent falling over with laughter oh what that meant we would hide in the trees then jump out in the street wondering who it would be at that time we would meet your mom would call us over and give us the blame and all we would tell her is we were trying to scare James After the summer we were still very close we would hang out on weekends and eat buttered toast once I remember chillin' at the mall we saw a group of people who weren't very small you leapt up with a flash so I followed behind these guys we were following you said they were fine then your birthday came around very fast I went to your party and had such a blast we put makeup on Eli then he put on a dress it was too funny but he looked like a mess we sang karaoke now that was the best we formed a small squirkel I know I can't say I made you that promise and i will keep it that way I have made you laugh I have made you cry I made have even said goodbye What I know to this day will always be true that you will be my friend no matter what we go through I ask for this chance to do over again to be a better person to show you who I am but if you believe that this is too much please never forget me or I will be crushed
