Poem of the Pessimistic Broken HeartsA Poem by KillianOne of my few rhyming ones
Torn inside by lovers past Hearts we had now empty casts Alone we try to lift our chin But in the end will we win? Time will tell our destinies Right now our thoughs are forgeries We long still for that gentle touch A hand to hold, our needed crutch Alone we see ourselves from now Until the end of time somehow We miss the way that she would sigh When next to us her body lie We lost it all to thought and pride Things we want to not abide Time will pass and she will see That We are still in misery But love is lost inside her soul Our thoughts of us a useless goal We think her love will ne'er be mine Romance is not a steady line We'll try and try and try again But gates to her heart are ten times ten We can only dream of her As frakincense and gold and myrrh We want her back inside our arms But we have used all our charms Out of love she fell from me Her thoughts are our curiosity We sit and type our words from air Wishing for our next affair But eyes of hers said otherwise While on our knees we let out cries There is no end to suffering Love they say is a fickle thing We gave our heart for her to keep Now we want to drown in deep We'll never be the same you know We're supposed to let it go We gave our time in fact our year And now we live in daily fear Alone again we find ourselves Dusty broken on the shelves Tossed aside we're broken toys We were men now we are boys
