Home is where the heart is

lol same deal, but with a classic influence

 

My fears that resonate the want of a man of tin
Caused by my broodings, much like the straw filled effigy
Perpetuated in my imitation of a beastly king
Which lost me the need of a ruby

Small am I, in  looking at the rocky path ahead
Confused of where I find myself, believing in bright stars
Showing me happy destined citadel
Before I cower to Westward ways
 
I step to find my home, my world, my everything
Not alone I hear knowledge, things of future past present
Not alone I feel affection, things of warm soft tender
Not alone I see daring, things of firm strong stubborn

Journey passing over forest seasons
Bringing me to words and calls of talking apes intelligent
Envy reflected walls into eager watchful eyes
Failing western style with dropping water from above

Warmth of my home, care of my world, embrace of my everything
There's no place like home
There's no place like home
There's no place like home 

I open my eyes, as my head rests on my pillow
A nightmare I think, until I check the date
It's February 3rd 2009
And here I lay without the embrace of my love

Home is where the heart is
Hearts are filled with love
Without love there is no heart
Without heart there is no home

wow....very creative. I really enjoyed your word choice in this one. You went beyond and chose not to choose (funny wording, lol) to use words like dreamy, angel...things like that. They get old sometimes and you gave me a poem that kept me entertained and reading. And for that, I thank you:)
