Shadows at 4:44

lol, same deal

 

shadows on walls make my silhouette swallow
me in it's wide gaping mouth

I was once larger than my fears would let me but
now i'm but a darker shade on an already darkened wall

shadows so large I can't find any clear wall and I'm stuck within these
confines of black and grey

no way out on and on merciless shadows fall on the wall
until the light goes out

black and nothing, no shadows, fears

I should feel better but then again in all this black

there's no sign of me
