Wonderfully Made

Wonderfully Made

A Poem by Daniel A. Herrera
"

Why is nature so beautiful? I think God uses it as a way to help us understand that while nature is amazing to look at, that wasn't his main creation. His main creation was us.

"
As flowers blossom in the summers light
Joyful praise arises within me
My Holy Spirit calms my peaceful soul
Just as the wind caresses the tall trees

As I feel the air flow through the giant expanse
I wonder and I sigh
At this creation that hast been created
Although worthless compared to my life

Because one might sit and stare
At this place they love and care
But they don't know, they can't see
That My Creator did not craft Earth
Nearly as much as he crafted me

For from Zion itself
In glorious rays
Comes perfect beauty down to me
And all I can do is wonder in awe
As this powerful trance captivates me

For we are all fearfully and wonderfully made, you see
To spread and teach and grow
Remember your beauty, remember your heart
For yours is beauty and the Kingdom of God

Author's Note

Daniel A. Herrera
This is primarily a Christian poem, but if you are not Christian, let this poem show you how beautiful you are. God, your father, fearfully and wonderfully created you. And this poem, from a Christian perspective, captures that.

I am not a Christian, I am a Muslim, and still I could relate to the feelings in this poem.

I relate to this part the most, because I think that all of the religions agree that each of us has a part of the creator inside.
This poem is indeed very beautiful, and it gives off the warm vibe you receive while in a church or in a mosque.
