ReflectionA Poem by M.KilaniAn old poem that has been published in the book of "Jordan Poetry: The Departure"
Mirror mirror on the wall A piece of you made my heart a hole
Yet here I am hard I try to stand tall Here I am harder I try not to fall
Here I stand and lean against the wall Weak I try from my death fall I crawl
Alone I am no one I know no one I call Helpless I bleed, and drain my soul
Mirror mirror on my wall I’m sick of waiting that angel to fall
Ugly I am now I’m aware I can see it all No more you fit my face, now ends your role
No more you can please me, my smile you stole No more you can draw my face using coal
Mirror mirror off my wall No more light you left to lighten this hall
If I can’t see what is your goal Reflect no more, break, shatter and fall
