Waiting to be saved

Waiting to be saved

A Poem by M.Kilani

Is it time, or more years I am to serve

Is it it time for what I deserve

Or more should I wait more I should pray

For a hand to wipe all my dismay

How much can I afford to be brave

How much longer I await to be saved

Lord can you hear me, I can't scream any louder

Lord would you spare me, I'm only getting older

A cigarette and a throne

Again I'm all alone

Wasting time to fill the day

While all are gone in a separate way

And I am still here

Waiting for you in fear

I'd give my soul to you

I'd build a world for you

But just like me you have lost your way

And you are waiting to be saved
