A Conversation (chat log) between my dearest friend Ruba and myself
A conversation between two soul mates
He said: I'm broken shattered naked and awake enough to see
me I've lost the last grain of hope I'm done I can't even heal, not u not others not even me I’m vain in vein
she said: heal no more I want from thee hopes I merge for yee I’m here for you and you’re here for me he said:
if I can't heal you or her , then how would I heal
me hope I’ve lost no longer eyes are open to see don't cleanse to me, I will drown yee I'm the black dark stone drowning in the sea
She said: then I choose to be a mermaid in the sea to hold thy hand and satisfy thee
he said: and dead I wish to be for life has forsaken me and then hurt thee shall it never be
she said: forsaken the lifeless life enough fighting enough the strive
he said: run, run for your life for I'm the murder's knife and I cast dismay starting from today
she said: if dead you chose as a life then shall you be my killing knife for thy life ,lifeless it would be with no you to write for me
he said: then put me aside for I can't bear guilt inside for you I can't hurt for u can truly see
she said: you are the wall I lay behind you are where the me can hide so don’t you dare to leave me alone fearful shaking till the dawn
he said: but not today today I'm wracked I'm a devastated home
She said: under the wreckage I’d rather be not a home I seek for me
he said: don't don't hide in me , not today for it's not the real me
she said: where else shall I be?!
he said: don't
she said: I’ll fix your pieces every time you fall until you turn to be my wall
he said: don't cast your fire in an abandoned wooden chest
she said: that’s the only place I find rest
he said: I'm not more than a brick that's what I am today a small human clay
she said: I can make it a chair in this naked corner I can make a non crossed border don’t you dare to fall a gain I’m a lone and I’m in pain
oh how I wish it could rain rain on me rain on you and wash this stain
he said: and fall to wash my pain shall that not be hurt you to be pain free this is not me
she said: then stay here stay with me standstill and scream for thee let it rain run with me again and again
he said: not now, not today for I will bring you despair and dismay for my pain tonight is outrageous for my plague is contagious if hurt you then who would heal me run on my behalf run and be free
she said: don’t be like this life and forsaken she don’t you dare abandon me in the corner senseless shaking for yee betrayed from life, love and thee don’t you leave, unless with me
he said: I won't leave here I shall be but I can't run along with yee
she said: then I don want to run anymore I’ll sit at the brick of the door I’ll wait for you to open it for me like the dawn wait for the sun like the night waits for the moon and some day together we'll run coz I’m tired of running asleep I don want to cry or weep
He said: and what if I died would you await for a corpse would you hold you life for evermore for a dead soldier in his stupid war don't lay here next to me don't you lie live for both of us when I die
she said: I’ll sleep over your grave for the stone I’ll be a slave I’ll cry blood instead of tears no one after you can cast my fears
he said: then I shall twist and burn in pain for I now have taken your life for I have twisted the knife took it from my heart and placed it in your heart made a slaughter house of a fine dead art
she said: twist the knife and strike it hard but never ever break us a part
he said: ask not for dead by the hands of the ill ask not for the thing he dare not to will and live, live for us both and out story I ask you
to tell
she said: I ask for thee mercy nit pain don’t mention this dead part again
he said: mercy I grant for thee the thing I can't give to me
she said: to you my life I give with pride just to put your pain aside I’ll die with you ,I haven’t lied this life has an end for this ride
he said: for me don't die live for me and speak no more for I lay on the floor and pray for our souls to be free
she said: if I live for you will you live for me? just this time satisfy thee
he said: lord can you hear me alive tomorrow we shall be lord that I ask from yee I the homeless not the free
She said: please be strong I want you to live for so long for you are my palm tree and you’re the one who wrote for thee
he said: then lay in peace next to me for I shall stand to shed thee for you are the one who waters me
she said: on this cold floor fire shall be sit no light we need your cigarette we can lit we'll smoke our fears and I’ll cry your tears and on one morning we'll rise again free from grudge free from pain
he said: for in this life "no pain no gain
she said: you are something I’ll hold inside indeed you’re my story that no one can read you are the hidden picture on my wall your the wind that casts the fall
he said: and you my friend make me whole
she said: for I need all your pieces for my wall
he said: together we'll stand and divided we'll fall
she said: our pain will merge but bodies stand tall
I don't know. You took me in many direction in this long poem. I like all the twist and turn and the good ending. Friendship can be hard. A very good poem.
