A Poem by M.Kilani

Could it be

Could we

Are we

Or is it me

I’m not sure

Unless you speak out

I can never tell

But my will is pure

Tell or leave

Although I believe

That we are on the same page

Yet now I’m full of rage

For I don’t know

For you don’t show

For we stand still

And you hide it well

Perhaps miscommunication

Silence in a conversation

Perhaps the page is too wide

Perhaps each is on another side

Perhaps obsessive care

Fear of despair

Perhaps we intend

To bring it to an end

Perhaps we are on the same page

Blinded of emotions we emerge

Perhaps we found what we seek

Yet a different language we speak

Could it be true

Could it be you

Is it you

I’ve never knew

It will make sense to a lot of people in different ways and I think that if someone understands it in there own way that is a great poem,
I see this as a struggle in a relationship to try and understand each other.

I really like it
