We are the guardians of glory

Worriers of our time

 

We can’t be mind hunted

We’ll never be mime

 

Brothers and sisters we all stand

Alerted to their scheme

 

We fight in the name of man

We gain our esteem

 

We can’t be hypnotized, advertised, nor criticized

We are the army of none

 

We fight who monopolize, to make them realize

 That we are the same under this sun

 

Un-labeled we are; we can’t be categorized

We hold no knife, sword, nor gun

 

As we all chose our lives

We complete the undone

 

Us riders of honor, knights of our time

Slayers of tyrants we beg to no one

 

The new age of heritage future and past

Mother and daughter, father and son

 

We are mind and heart

The ache of the wounded

The mourn of prisoners

The silence of those who died

For bloody injustice, for a man having fun

 

The bards of the unspoken

The voice of one

 

We last, though invisible

BRAVO!... Such inspirational words...We are the army of none, yet we are everyone - I love it.. absolutely! I'm so pleased to read something like this.. a call to unify and stand up simply because we are human..no defense of country of ethnicity... just defense of our race against those who would keep us at odds.

The flow of this write is perfect, it reads like flowing water. I love the two line stanzas... almost like couplets. The imagery is fantastic and the message , all consuming.

I absolutely love the title! The poem is an excellent piece of writing!

We hold no knife, sword, nor gun "....................These lines are stunning!

For if we claim no title then we cannot be influenced to create catastrophe over and again! We owe to ourselves to be the warrior who wears bravery within the heart, not the weapon in hand!

I like this very much! Personally, I thought of it as a song while i was reading; I imagined some sort of symphonic metal lyric (hope you don't mind me saying this). And the constant statement of self-glory is great in each line! =)

@Coyote Poetry true, someone has to "stand up and shout" as late R.J.D said therefore I try to do so with words instead the vicious act taken in Swords, omitting the first "s" of the word "sword" may sound hard, yet I believe it's more effective, thank you for the review, I'm glad you like it .

The army of none. I like this poem. I agree with the purpose in your words. We seem to be but blanks and empty spaces in this world. We need to begin to scream and yell in disappointment before it is too late. A outstanding poem.

Very good. Every line fits, speaking its resistance mankind's depravity. The movement it describes is like the wind or gravity, powerful, yet only seen by its effects on the world. My favorite lines are:
"Us riders of honor, knights of our time
Slayers of tyrants we beg to no one"
As well as the last two stanzas. A truly inspirational piece.
