Blank

Blank

A Poem by M.Kilani

I damn my fingers for every note

I damn my head for every thought

Not that they did something wrong

But for feeling free and writing a song

Empty I am now with no anger no rage

Only an ink filling an empty page

No love, no hate no luck nor fate

For nothing u wait and I came too late

White page I am … weightless and light

How come in this world black is so bright

A sinner I want to be once and again

Hurt and beaten... I’m addicted to pain

Nothing inside I became a mime

A stone I became that is stuck in time

And I shout out loud is any one out there

To fill me “white page” would any one dare

Through words I drown through nothing I sank

I do exist but only feel as a blank

It flows very well, the rhyme is right on, and every line is focused in on what you're saying.
The first two stanzas a great job of capturing the essence of feeling trapped in your own body.
"How come in this world black is so bright" I like that line. I think alot of people, myself included, will be able relate to this subject, the need to be *something*. Excellent.

Oh, I didn't catch all of that before, but I went back and, I think I can see those ideas within the words now. I guess that's the beauty of poetry, it can be interpreted differently by each person who reads it.

Frankline thank you for the review
it's more like a state of emptiness combined by anti-socialism, autism and longing for social order at the same time if you look down deep its structure . thanks again
