Truth needs no titles

Truth needs no titles

A Poem by M.Kilani

It’s been a while since the last beat of my heart

It’s been a while since the last blood rush

All were done before they even start

And no more I hope as I don’t ask for much

And once again awake I lay

As alone as yester night I am today

Special no more only alone

Another dusk, another dawn

With no desire but for death

Wishes the body of no strength

And aches a heart of blood and tar

While mind asks where, and who you are

Tamed is my soul

Leashed is my will

And the butterfly on my wall

Is now standing still

And I can’t be who I was, never will I be

I can’t turn away from all, I can’t run till I’m free

And I silently mourn for no one wants to hear

Never there, nor home , always I am near

And no longer I envy, no longer I lust

No longer I lie, and my dreams became dust

No longer I yearn nor miss a friend

Paralyzed I am, moreover; dead
