What a fool am I

What a fool am I

A Poem by M.Kilani

Drink, smoke, fill up empty heart

Satisfy your useless pulse

Where your lust is lost

As you wait for a new start

And cry

Weep a night in regret

Weep for losing her heart

For her beloved eyes

And try … to forget

Then die

In graveyard of broken dreams

Where she was always by your side

Lay aside as she walk with him

And shed more tears shed streams

Then ask why

Why left alone

Why didn’t you tell her

Is that because she’s a friend

Time to sleep here cracks the dawn

Can’t bare to try

Don’t try you fool

Stay down, safe , and alone

Keep them roses until they die

And drawn in your melancholic pool

What a fool am I

I don't understand the first stanzas but all in all a good poem. I would like to know more details in a more organized way but that's just me. All about preferences. I can see you have some talent. Keep on writing and I hope all things will be better Kilani.
