Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by M.Kilani

Endless night
Endless light
Oh... how immaculate

Without your embrace
What a disgrace
A divine touch you can't replace

A dove and a hell hound
Whispering sound
Time to become your own solid ground

Try or die
Don't deny
A laughter followed by a sigh

Endless fight
Endless might
Oh... how accurate

No longer they matter
A goddess in your dreams
And a doll in the hand of another

And when joy is gone
you're back at where it begun
Missing warmth under the sun

Human parades
endless shades
time passes by as glory fades

Would you still stay
Or walk away
Today is tomorrow that we feared yesterday

Would you still wait?
Is time to curse fate?
Bury your ashes below your hate

No life to awaken
No gain to be taken
Once again, you are forsaken
