One more

One more

A Poem by Michael Deshields
"

One more chance...

"
One more chance
One more lie
One more threat
There is always another so that the cycle is never truly broken
You throw a punch your eyes glowing with a sadistic glare
She stays there taking punches quaking in fear
The quarrel will never end because she likes the pain
But everyone dies
She just died from the joy that kills
The blood stained hands tell stories of despair
And leaves an overwhelming atmosphere near
She was never truly dead
Because she never truly lived
She stands tall by herself
But you make her small to make sure
That she will never have
One more....
