CriminalA Story by Israel DoverThere once was a criminal that was better than any other known criminal. He was despicable, but yet, he cared about the harm he caused. One day, he decided he wanted to get a big pay out. He decided he wanted to rob the Federal Reserve Bank in Washington, DC. So he concocted a plan to do so. He had developed a plan to achieve his goal of the “big pay out.” The first step of his plan was to get the blue prints to the Federal Reserve Bank and the GW outpatient rehabilitation Center. He spent many days and nights studying these blueprints and checking out the buildings. He paid close attention to the times that they were the busiest, the traffic around certain times of the day, and he studied the people who came and went from the bank. The second was to get his hands on an armored truck. Since they are not that easy to get your hands on, he spent a lot of time searching and looking for the perfect truck. This was going to be his getaway vehicle. He finally found the perfect truck at a police auction, but the truck was in New Jersey, so he had to plan a road trip to go get truck. There was only one problem, he had a background. So, he convinced a friend of his, that just so happens to work with the DOT (department of transportation) to go with him. They went and got the truck, came back and started to work on the next step on his plan. The next step was to obtain industrial drilling equipment. He began searching online and found the equipment on a website. He ordered the equipment and waited for it to arrive. As he waiting on the equipment to arrive he continued to study the buildings. Just so happened that New Year’s Day was right around the corner and he found out that both the Federal Reserve Bank and the outpatient center were both going to be closed. This means both building would be empty. This was perfect! As he wanted to make sure no one would be hurt during his plan. Early in the wee hours of New Year’s Day he began working on his plan. He needed to get his truck to the loading bay of the outpatient center without causing suspicion. He contacted his friend that works for the DOT and discussed synchronizing the red lights on his getaway route. He broke into the outpatient center through some ductwork he came across in the rear of the building. Since he spent so much time studying the blueprints, he realized that the two buildings shared an underground storage type space. Once in the outpatient center he found his way to the stairs that led to this underground storage room. He made his way down the stairs and into the storage room. He then realized it was completely empty and the he could get into the vault by drilling up through the floor. He set up his equipment and began work. “Finally” he said. “I can’t believe I have made it this far!” He began loading the bricks of gold into bags which he winched up the stairs and piled up by the back door. Once the bricks of gold were all loaded and moved over to the outpatient center, he began loading them into the truck. Then, once he got about three-fourths of the gold loaded someone must have spotted him and called the police because next thing he knows is he starts hearing a faint sound of sirens. The sirens got louder and louder, it dawned on him that they were coming for him! Oh no! He called his friend with the DOT and told him to make sure all the lights were synchronized because the police was after him! Someone must have called the law on me, he said! Pulling out the parking lot the police was right on him! He just kept going. His partner had it all timed out perfectly and as soon as he would go under the lights he would change them, therefore, the police were having to deal with the other traffic, which gave the criminal a bit of a lead. Well, all of a sudden more police came out of nowhere and the chase continued for an hour and a half. He was getting tired and realized that he was not going to lose the police so the next bridge he came to he just drove off of it.
