The ImposterA Poem by Andy LeavyHighlighting my struggles with Imposter Syndrome
Pick up a pen and let the syndrome begin.
The mind starts to crumble, the imposter cannot win. Thoughts of failure slowly creep into the mind. A way to beat this syndrome the imposter cannot find. Sitting in a dark room, escaping reality. Eating forbidden fruits from the poisoned tree. Is the way out at the bottom of this bottle? Or in the barrel of a gun? Sitting here alone.
The syndrome has won. © 2017 Andy LeavyAuthor's Note
