Skating Upon Ice

Skating Upon Ice

A Poem by Quail
"

Most of my poetry is inspired by ochrestra's of music I hope you all enjoy

"

The powder liquid which was a solid

Jumps to my face happily meeting it's end to the warmth inner soul

i seem to carry

Blades beyond my feet cut my path slowly

Carving my trail that shall lead me back to my starting point

and place known as home

Water quickly forms creating a mist of sort

And as the sun rises a rainbow awakens between this sheet of mist

Dancing with the wind and taking off with each sun

Ray

My breath soon appears clearly to me

Creating a cloud of warm H2O

that soon dissapears within the dance that is going on around me

Sweat is impatient as it creeks down my cheek eagerly

waiting for the right moment to escape

different than what I usually read, i enjoyed it. This makes me fee like sweat from a bullet, if that makes any sense. I like this. Wonderful set up going on.
