Lonely but not Alone

Lonely but not Alone

A Poem by Kibbs Fortilus

Lonely but not Alone

I hate the feeling

Of loneliness

But I thank God

I've never been alone

Because if I ever

Couldn't bear it all

There's always somewhere

I can call home

If I ever

Needed console

If I no longer

Could suppress the stress

I have people

I can turn to

Who have often seen me

Not at my best

If life throws

It's hardest punch

And I've fallen on the canvas

Left it all

I have a circle

That will embrace me

Will comfort me

When I fall

I feel lonely

On days like this

When my loved ones

Are much too far

But the heart tied bonds

Keep me from being alone

Love connects

The furthest stars
