A New Light

A New Light

A Poem by Kiba Shadowpaw

A friendly face,
A beautiful smile.
Cradled in his arms,
She stays a while.

Her loneliness fades,
As her heart begins to sing.
His voice soothes her,
Making her soul ring.

You'll never catch her,
Looking astray.
For it's into his arms she runs,
At the end of the day.

Her heart was missing,
So he gave her his.
Melting into his embrace,
With a single kiss.

Out of the darkness,
Into the light.
She's no longer alone,
Together they stand and fight.
