A Poet's Delight

A Poet's Delight

A Poem by Kiba Shadowpaw
"

Towrite love on her arms, would make her my heart's canvas~

"
With a heart full of love,
On a sleepless night.
Insomnia soon becomes,
A poet's delight.

Words of love and passion,
Rolling off his fingertips.
The cool night sets in,
With light chilly nips.

He thinks about the moments shared,
With his one true love.
Finally sleep begins to set in,
Carrying his spirit above.

As he closes his eyes,
With one final yawn.
His mind still racing,
Waiting to see her dawn.

Another beautiful poem of love and desire. The last sentence is interesting. Do you mean "Waiting to see her at dawn"? either way is fine.. it just doesn't flow as well with "her dawn".. at least not to my ears. Great job.
