Reality or Fantasy

Is this reality or just a dream, watch as love unfolds at the seams~

Is she real,

Or just an illusion.

Someone my mind made up,

Just to keep me smilin.

Where is she,

I thought I saw her today.

I caught a glimpse of her smile,

She nearly took my breath away.

Is this a fantasy or reality,

Her presence entagling my mind.

If she were really real,

Would she be this hard to find.

I close my eyes and there she is,

Her voiceless words fill my head.

She laughs and smiles a little more,

Opening my eyes to an empty bed.

Is that all she really is,

Just a comforting dream.

Or will I find this woman,

Who soothes me like a trickling stream.

She sounds like a muse.. I have one that is that playful and fleeting. I do love the searching throughout this. I think we are always looking for love in one form or another and you show this here. Wonderful job.

It's only human for one to seek many forms of love any happiness. I've taught myself the key to true happiness and very few who take my philosophy seriously. Once true happiness is found, it can never be taken away, or it wasn't true to begin with. My writings and nature-loving/adventurous side are what bring me happiness that no one can take away.

However, this poem itself is a farce, since the individual i described in the poem, is some random woman i passed one day when walking through the mall. Cliche or corny, call it what you will, but when i saw her, my heart skipped a few beats and i forgot all about the world around me. Kinda scary how someone you don't even know, can make you feel so weak and vulnerable inside. Thank you for the kind and lovely compliments~
