New life spun from lack of love

New life spun from lack of love

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

The heart is tired of aches

Tough it does so ache

I numb it with lustful intakes

With a heart that bleeds

Will be forgotten in the moment of flesh on flesh

But soon enough lust wasn’t enough

So with the flesh on flesh we add inflecting pains

Teeth and claws amongst flesh made red

Dig into me bring me pain so I may lose another

And in turn I’ll give you my sin

Oh great master of darkness

I no longer care for the light

So shield me from its ugly blight

Spread your wings as you partake of my skin

And I shall flood the world with my sin

Let my new life of true darkness begin

Loathing lost love can be an ugly business...The dark thoughts are implosive to our well being. That side of the poem is expressed creatively well and maintains and captures the theme top to bottom...Surrendering to emotional darkness from heart ache.

It is certainly difficult to live with all of those pains in your heart. You accurately portray what many people experience when their hearts are jaded past recognition.
