Watchers of the night

Watchers of the night

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

You roar and storm towards me

I stand in the edge of a forest so green

You face me and take your stance

I pay you no mind and continue my prayers

You watch me

I had already placed the salts

You attempt to distract and scare me

I cast on through

You pace

I finish and step through the salts towards you

You look at me and growl as you retreat to the forest of green

I listen to your distant howls through the night

I fear not

You regret your fault
