Pass it to me

Pass it to me

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

I watch as a hand packs and rolls with care.

Should I ask for the first hit?

Do I dare?

I did pay for over half the path.

But it’s better once everyone’s rolling.

Everything seems slow.

So I grab a bong a fill the bowl.

Three big hits, and I’m as light as a feather.

I smile ear to ear.

Someone’s crying in the corner, “Dude, we will be busted.”

Me and the others laugh.

Dude chill, it’s no big deal.

Our moods are good.

Our eyes are red.

This s**t has went straight to my head.

The world is in slow motion.

As I lay in bed.

The only I hear is friends hunting for food.

My head is light so I don’t get up.

I just feel of my pillow, how soft it seems.

It’s gone too soon.

So we head off in a hunt for weed.
