The devils wife

The devils wife

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

In the grave is where you sowed the seed.

Of such wicked deeds.

Your soul I did see.

Of what the devil did ask me I did agree.

To harbor the death of the world a new.

So it may kill you and you.

A witch I be and your fears I need.

So i may feed the devil and me.

Interesting, i liked reading this. Short and sweet, it is a grenade. The last two lines especially, they made me smile. They are very witty and blended internal rhyme with end rhyme, a rather clever and creative idea.

i guess the devil thrives on people's fear. it's great that the witch sides with the devil. excellent poem.
