A hole in my being.

A hole in my being.

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

My heart and soul are shattered and hollow.

You did a toll.

How and why did I let you into my soul?

I was made for you…

But I turned from you and your wickedness…

But your looming shroud followed me.

I was pursued to cliffs edge.

Are blades were drawn, and poisoned words were flung.

A dance of blood and blades were spun.

A blade pressed to my neck and your heart…

Steel crashed to the ground as body’s tangled and lips meet.

All was great… until your wickedness returned to mind…

So with one last kiss of passion I drove the dagger to its hilt in the small of your back.

I shuddered at your stillness and cried for my deed…

But your darkness never did leave…
