A-ya

A Poem by Kiari Sabon
"

a love that can not be

"

Your long golden mane flows and sways to the fluttering of my heart. My soul swims in your deep brown and gold eyes. Your fanged teeth are as sharp as cupid’s arrow that has pierced my heart. Your voice is a choir of angels that warms my soul even in the darkest of times. Yet it cannot be. The warmth you cause must be hidden. Oh how much my aching heart weeps for you! I see you and your beauty then wonder why we cannot be. I must flee this cruel life to be free of this heart ache. I bid you farewell my heart and soul.
