The clashing of one’s self

The clashing of one’s self

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

You show me your claws and yet you tell me you’re perfect

But I see your horns coming through

Now come on say the truth

What is that?

Come on now speak up to me

No one is innocent!

What’s wrong with me?

Nothing.

I embrace my darkness and face it

Whereas you hide in your false light

But it is dim and looks to be becoming that of the night

Where are you going you can’t hide from my sight

I am a part of you! The one that accepts the true you
