Worry when there should be none

Worry when there should be none

A Poem by Kiari Sabon
"

i was txting and the clock was driving me nuts and idk how but this happened i guess i was bored

"

I’m waiting for that chime

That lighting up that makes me blind

This silence has left me deaf

How much time has it been since you spoke

The ticking of the clock seems to choke me as it tocks

Oh that dreadful ticking of the clock

The longer it tocks the more I wonder

Did I say something wrong

Did someone come along

Did something dreadful happen to you hun

With the ticking and tocking these questions hum along

there is silence.. and.. there is silence.. it is painful to wait for what we may not want to hear.. but the not hearing can be excruciating..

indeed it can thank you
silence is golden to me, more can be said without words than with them

have you read Edgar Lee Masters poem "Silence"? It's one of my all time favorites.

i havent ill look it up though
I could give you three paras of fanciful meaningless pap - that would just say in effect - I liked what you said and listened to how you said it. But that would be repeating myself now - wouldn't it? Damn, don't you hate that?

Some can't handle their "silence" and others ...well, some of us "treasure" it.

Take care,
Chris
