there is no end
why do they even pretend
show emotion get scolded yet you are the one they vent to
a cycle that brings you down
do you dare give in and stay to be battered endlessly
or step away and be alone
which is better
cold and alone or sore and torn

the least you could do is stand up for what is best...cold and alone is better...its is much better if the endless battered stop...be strong and stand on what you believed in.. Great poem..
