Reflection

 Through the mirror

I see your face

I feel your words

I can see you breathe

I know when you break

And I sense when you’re about to fall

So

As you walk out the door

I pray for what you’ve lost

and I hope for what you’ll gain

I see your future

Burning bright,

Anyone could see the passion

Shining in your eyes

When you talk about tomorrow

But when

You see your reflection

You see

Something in your nightmares

You think

You’re everything you’re not

The mirror’s fogged

Seeing clearly is now a challenge

I watch

You disintegrate

Right before my eyes

You’re fading

Slowly disappearing

And no one

Can bring you back

You need

To wipe away the steam,

And all the discord

Take a good look

At your reflection
