My Love (A Figure of Speech Poetry)

My Love (A Figure of Speech Poetry)

A Poem by VR Zette

Walking down the seashore,

Listening to the endless splash of the sea.

Watching the person that I adore,

While hearing the gushing wind surrounding me.

His face is as white as the falling snow,

Full of innocence like ice.

But his mind is not as mesmerizing as the rainbow,

And his eyes are dark as lies.

My heart pleads when I see you,

It screams my desires out loud.

My soul cries when it feels blue,

Every time I see a dying cloud.

You were my shining star,

In this world of thorns.

You were my ear buds from afar,

In this place blowing with horns.

My heart hops happily when you’re near me,

Purely pleading persistently for you to stay.

Whispering words of wonderment to let me see,

Your yearning youthful heart pleads every way.

My heart waits for you,

That it can dive the depths of the sea.

My love for you is true,

That I could give the world for you to love me.

Oh my love, hear me and stay,

That I will be with you always.

Oh my love, I would marry you every day in May,

Until the end of my living days.
