Falling for a Shard

When you try to tell him
But not a single buzz you speak.
Staring at him, lights dim

Eyes sparkling
Scent lingering.
The stars are glimmering
And the night was fast fading.

Your smile, so appealing
Not a bit of fuss I can hear.
Breathe of warmth so relaxing
And not shed of tear.

Hearing the whispers of the road,
Gazing at the bright lights,
Hands so wet and cold
And heart raising to different heights.

Remembering your scent
Makes me shiver in pain.
I know that we are never meant
And the fact it makes me insane.

Why couldn't it be just you?
Can an angel love a demon?
The roses' nights were blue
And falling for a shard is not common.

My mind turning,
I just wanna know.
Wanna know how it's going.
