Searching

Nothing can be seen 

And nothing can be heard. 

Where have I been? 

I'm like a flightless bird. 

I want to fly the skies. 

I want to sail the seas. 

But why am I in disguise?

I don't get the point of this.

Do you know who I am?

Do you know where I've been?

When will my heart be calm?

And when will I be seen? 

Why am I hurting like this

When I can be happy. 

Maybe I just miss 

My one and only, my family.

I've been waiting for so long

And my soul is slowly fading.

Where did I go wrong? 

The darkness is fast invading.

I just want to feel your warm hug

To see your smiles of happiness.

I've been sleeping in the rug

Coz all I feel is sadness. 

Someday I know I'll be fine.

I know I can make it. 

Someday I'll find the sign

But right now I don't feel it even just a bit
