Such an arrogant poem!

I know you don’t mean to be so,

Not born this way either!

Time’s made you what you are now;

But still, can’t you even try to be better?

 

Your excessively sweet words,

Your slimy, sloppy smile…

Your nasal voice, those stupid rings;

Get me all freaked out!

 

I want to stay away from you,

Don’t want to make you sad;

By my cutting cruel remarks…

They’re so hard to bear and I know that;

 

So honey, just leave me alone,

Let me have some peace!

I am tired of these stupid talks with you…

When you know, I am not the one you please!

Believe me, it is really very irritating to have such people around you...all the time. Trying to please you in the silliest ways.

A very good piece. I think everyone can relate because we've all met these kind of folks and chances are we are these kind of folks to some other person. So it is indeed an impulsive poem and also a reflective one as well. Great work, Shita.

Freakey! Yes, It is a word which we often use to call those people whom we want a safe distance kept.
I don't know if this poem is meant for someone you know in your life or the category of people in general. I would like to say that I share the same sentiments towards such people as well.
Often I read so many poetry on people whom other people would love. It is refreshing to read a poem on hate as well. A few more powerful verses would have decimated the lot to oblivion.

Irritated and yet sympathetic at the same time. That's generous.
Honestly I am alien to this feel. So I can't comment on the content.
But the rhythm is nice. Actually the I found the rhyme and rhythm best for this of all your poems.
And then the theme is quite new and difficult in itself. It's not easy to express exactly what you feel in form of a poem.
That's one thing I find in all your works. Hats off to that
