UntitledA Poem by GatielAnother Poem I wrote some years back.Things of beauty that we see, They say it's in the eye of the beholder. People ask who the beholder is, Today the beholder is me. I look upon this world we live in, So large and so cruel, But with so many things in this world, The beauty does shine through. Wandering around the land I see, The mountains and the plains, There is beauty in everything, just for you to see. I gaze upon the mountain peaks, The snow lies so pristine, Down to the tree line of evergreen, Like frozen ocean waves. I look upon the ocean blue, Waves pounding on the shore, Water frothing in a mist, To be remembered evermore. Across the desert now I go, Sand of golden brown, When the waters come in spring, The verdant greens abound. Now to the plains of grass so long, Wind making honey waves, Flowing to the end of sight, Until the end of days. The final thing in my list of beauties, None other can surpass, For only one beauty can hold my sight, All of which is you. © 2008 GatielReviews
