One Day at a time

One Day at a time

A Poem by katy B

On the road to rediscovery
I cannot be in a hurry
Even if I slip and fall
In the end I will stand strong and tall

Where do I begin this journey
Upon which grounds should I tary
Where do I seek advice
Should I perharps cast dice

Stay away from me all of you
I feel you are afraid of me too
What shall we converse about
How we hate the smell of trout?

First I read
Then remember that I can lead
I sit and play piano
Imagine my fingers to be a great trio

This feels like me
The version I long to see

I believe. All of us need to do, One day at a time.
"Where do I begin this journey
Upon which grounds should I tary
Where do I seek advice
Should I perharps cast dice"
I like the use of the dice in the poem. Life is like a game of chance. Win some and lose some. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
