Unspoken word

I see and I know

How seeing me succeed pulls your strings

How my happiness makes you snare

How my joy brings you despair 

How my delight upsets you 

You pretend to be happy 

But I know you I know your face

I know every inch of you 

Every facial reaction 

Every grunt of agreement and disapproval 

And you try to make me disappear

Because I remind you of what you cannot be 

And what you cannot do What you cannot have 

And what you cannot take from me 

The scary thing is that I feel the exact same way towards you
