One Day

Mind battles

And that is when it all began
Or was it that one day
Did you not grow to cherish and
Appreciate what it had all become
Did you not decieve yourself into believing
The unbelievable

And one day it all came to an end
Or was it just one day
Did you not feel the floor crumbling
Shifting beneath your feet
Begging for you to pay attention

And one day all the pain disappered
Or was it that one day
Did you not hate yourself for being so naive
Did you not curse the day you were born
Feeling that this was surely
The end

And now you understand
Not just now but forever
Life is a journey. Everything grows into
Something and nothing just is
Nothing is forever but forever is something
