Oya In Chinatown

Oya In Chinatown

A Poem by KhemiJegna

The spirit is present
It rained when i first saw you
The atmosphere delight
Shango still in plasma
Echoes of the calmed war
Rolling thunder Somersaulted between us
Lightening captured in absence
It Was then I knew you could bend light
Your scent, a mist, unknown and missed

my kundalini chilled

Ive felt the tail of a comet

as you passed me
Moved by a gaze...
my emotions have not quarreled
Palm wine I tasted and kola nuts
A touch from you I heard the Ancestors.
A ritual and a rhythm unrecognized by us as i wrestle with you and knew you
I treaded upon this place before
With you i'm naked unashamed and eternal with the union of the firmament.
Veil is your vessel.
Oshun dances in your heart Oya reigns with you..
Anything that opposes thee resigns.
You are present
The spirit is present.

The Aquarius constellation smiles upon you.
