A Mothers Sorrow

A Mothers Sorrow

A Poem by Kharon
"

For those capable of living beyond the death of there child.

"
Pain ebs from the ducts of her eyes, she kneels solemly covering her mouth muffling her cries. Her spirit is in purgatory but she is chained to her mind striped of a love she cradled at birth deprived of a love that was blind. The avarice that she bares is pointless for what's done is done now all she can muster are the tears of a mother that outlived her son. Recollections of her childs youth are now diluted with a scene of gore and red, what words can be said that would safice for her baby.....is dead.
